DESCRIPTION:For information on Aqua Box watch the video HERE   We would be
working alongside other members of Rotary and the public to build Aqua Bo
xes which are then shipped to destinations in need of clean water .  Disa
sters such as these seem to be increasing in frequency and severity around
the world. They leave behind damaged infrastructure and contaminated wate
r supplies.     People resort to drinking any water they can find\, usual
ly from polluted sources. Those who drink this unsafe water are at increas
ed risk from water-borne diseases such as cholera and typhoid. The elderly
and very young are particularly vulnerable\, with approximately 2\,000 ch
ildren under 5 years dying every day*.   The AQUABOX project\, sponsored
by the Rotary Club of Stratford Charitable Foundation\, is helping to chan
ge that. And you can help too. AQUABOX is a simple\, low-cost filtration
system that can provide purified drinking water to a family of five for up
  to a year.
