The Rotary Club of Hanover is proud to support Camp Molly!

Camp Molly provides the opportunity for young women to learn about firefighting as a career choice and to meet and engage with strong female role models in their community.  The camp aims to 

The goal at Camp Molly is to show young women 15 to 18 years of age that a career in the fire service is a viable and rewarding option.

The camp pays tribute to the first female firefighter on record in North America, Molly Williams. In 2019, the fire departments of Halton Region hosted the Inaugural Camp Molly, and with the generous support and donations from many charities, clubs, and business owners, it was an overwhelming success.

Hazardous Waste Day Hanover

Hanover will be holding a household hazardous waste event on Saturday October 19, 2023 from 10am to 2pm - Hanover Public Works yard at 70 14th Avenue.

The Household Hazardous Waste Day Events are provided on behalf of the Hanover/Walkerton Waste Management Committee and assisted by The Rotary Club of Hanover. The events are free to the residents of Hanover and Walkerton. 

At your Household Hazardous Waste Depot, there will be trained professionals who will receive, package, transport and store the materials safely and in compliance with all regulations.
